Screw piles carry heavy moment induced structures including solar carports, EV charging bays and industrial buildings. Design starts with the geotechnical report or a verification pile, and the pile is then sized to the governing case. Shaft diameter, wall thickness and helix configuration are set per site rather than taken from a catalogue standard.
